sad news

i have missed blogging for a while so a quick catch up. my nan and grandad john in cyprus were due to visit england in january but sadly grandad john passed away the morning of their flights. so nanny didnt come over until they had flown grandad john over. his funeral was on tuesday last week. mum and dad both went but i choose not to.
well today i went to bexhill judo club, and took part in a junior referee course. i passed my theory exam with 95% so that was good and they said my practical was good. so i am now a level one junior referee. yipee!!

last night, this morning

yesterday after school dad dropped me and pigtails at mums car and went to work mum came out of her work a minute later and we had to rush over to judo, i was helping out one of the older girls with her sports exams. we spent two hours with her throwing me and demoing holddowns, so that derek could video it. it was mostly fun although it hurt a bit.
this morning i ached all over.

sunday judo comp

well i entered the mini mons comp yesterday. i could not believe it when i weighed in i was 35.4kg i think the scales there are a bit light as i am 38/39kg at home !! mum wanted to get weighed on those scales lol. we were all pooled together as they didnt have many entrants in my age group so i was in a group of 5 but i was the lightest and the shortest. it was really hard, they were heaver than i am used to fighting and i struggled. i lost my first 2 fights and the 3rd one was wrongly marked so i lost that one too. but i managed to win the last one with a hold down. i was really pleased that i at least won one. it did mean i got a bronze medal so that was quite cool.

school started today. yuk i did not want to get up this morning dad had to call me 4 times. i moved seats so i now sit with 2 girls from before and 1 girl and 2 boys.

got to go to bed now before mum starts yelling.

geocaching with dad

this morning mum had a bad back so we left her with piggtails and dad and i went geocaching. we wanted to do some more in the series of 12 that we started on new years day. when we got there it was very muddy. we managed to walk about 4 miles and find 5 caches. that means we ony have three more in the series to find maybe next weekend. when we went home we found mum and piggtails were cooking. great they made cookies. one lot was called snickerdoodles and the others were ginger. as i have a judo competition on sunday dad wouldn't let me eat too many. :-( i managed to eat 5 before he noticed lol.

pokemon stuff

dad and me spent all morning playing pokemon on th ds's. mum had to search the internet for us to find help. did you know that you can only catch a drifloon on a friday!!
only need one more to complete the pokedex.

new year new blog !!

we went geocaching today and found 4. the last one was our 100th cache. how cool. dad and mum gave me a 100 caches found pin.
